love the gnome house... AWESOME

sorry flocks about your eggs... I had that happen for the NYD hatch. It was from swap eggs too.... had a very bad hatch.

love the cochin chicks....

We missed a tornado today (went to eat first on the other side of town) but came home to flooding and no power...with a full incubator!! Luckily it wasn't off too awfully long, and we aren't very cold here. But it is the first that it has been basically close to full. And a separate little bator with sebbie eggs in it

I just hope there were no fatalities due to the tornado... saw some trees on cars, and trees through roofs... I am used to hurricanes but not tornadoes.

Flocks I hope these were not any of the eggs I sent. If they were I am so sorry. I do not think they would have been old enough to cause problems. I can not guarantee since they were from an outside source.

It was eggs from a swap, but the eggs I got from you were in there covered in goo. Kids pretty bumming too because the exploded eggs were on his list of breeds. Guess he's not getting any of them. And from the eggs you sent he so wanted a Moose.

This is why sellers should never sell eggs mroe than 3-4 days old.  I had one weeping and got it before it exploded.  Sadly, none of the eggs from that person hatched.  I was not surprised.

Yeah, four others were weeping and dripping, so it could have been worse. It just stinks so bad.

She has Moose eggs!!!!?????!!!! I want!

Made a run while my incubator was drying out from the deep clean. Still have all the washable components in the dishwasher. I just got home with 6 Midget hens and three midget toms. Two trios are two years old and the other is only 5 months, so not laying yet. The older ones had eggs lying on the floor. So that's promising. Several were debeaked which I never do, but we can deal with it.

The guy I got them from wanted me to purchase all his turkeys. All midgets, but there are probably twenty still there. I would love too, but not all at once. It's a bit much for me to sequester even if it is the old greenhouse. I like my birds to have a ton of room.

Well better get chores done.
