That is a male. He is grey, females are dark brown and black. Also, he has a large spot of white and no eyeliner. I still would not breed him though-you want a male that is light in color, while females should be very dark brown with distinctive lighter or chestnut strips, and a dark "eyeliner" running back from her eyes. If he is the only male, use him, but keep us posted as he grows.
Rhodebars are red-he also looks like a Jaerhon female.
I am almost 100% sure it is a male, however, he is a lot darker than he should be.

See the grey on the male? Unfortunately, the Legbars we have here in the US are not nearly as correct as they should be, which is why we are getting very dark males.
