COF SURVIVOR.....JUST "DUCKY" NOW. Aren't they amazing? He seems none the worse for the wear and as much shennigans as any self respecting duck peeping to beat the band. I am sure he gave them all what for all day!!!




REESE SURVIVOR.....Had no problem finding the food, as you can see. I can't seem to get her to get out of the bowl. She is like a toddler, needs a bib!


All in all this week, much was lost by many. But so much gained. Thank Pysanski for reminding us, though your heartbreak and healing, these moments are why we put up with the others. Thank you all for being amazing friends in an unexpected place! Krafty, I'll send toast up for you.

For me the deposit depends on the chuck, but generally 25-50 percent

Well I just got another email from the seller wanting me to ship all 7 of the surviving chicks back to them on Monday after they were in the mail for 3 days. They would never survive the trip back and all the stress. I honestly can't believe they would even ask such a thing. They told Pp that they wanted me to ship them back. Pp is siding with them and wanting me to ship them back. So I am going to my bank tomorrow and doing a chargeback.

They would never survive the trip back and all the stress. I honestly can't believe they would even ask such a thing.  They told Pp that they wanted me to ship them back. 

I would contact the humane society before doing that, but for PayPal you may have to ship them. Man I hate stupid people !

If I ship them I am condeming them to there deaths and I won't do that. That is all this person wants is them to die. They won't meet me in the middle Frankly I am done with this person and I am going around them and Pp and going straight to my bank. I have always replaced my birds and eggs even if I state that I won't. There has only been a few times that I haven't. But, I have always made right on my eggs and birds. The only thing I was asking was for the seller to make right on there deal. Problem is I didn't want more birds to have the same problem. I would rather have a partial refund. I am supposed to pay to ship them back. Not fair and it would be them loosing there lifes over it.

Paypal won't allow a partial refund? I guess you could ship back the dead chicks.. and any that die overnight. It really sucks when people aren't being reasonable... please tell me who this is by PM so I won't ever buy anything from this unreasonable person.

Contact the humane society. Or have a vet send an email or letter to both PayPal and the seller explaining that it would be animal cruelty to do so. If they were any kind of descent person they wouldn't be asking you to do that, but over the whole debacle we've all noted that they are not. I'll think on it some more maybe I can come up with something else.

I know Bryce at Ewe Crazy Farms charges 50% deposit on his chicks. I think that's reasonable.

I have been paying in FULL to order chicks. All were reputable breeders though. Not sure I would do that for someone unknown. I have requested deposits if someone orders over a certain number of chicks, but if they are a breed I would have no problem selling I don't worry about it much.
