I plan to ship my first box of day-olds Monday. I bought these boxes from Cutlers. How do you attach the lid?

I will look for your bunny. I know that several bunnies were delayed due to crisises, but I will check and get back to you. It is not the one you sent the box too. Did everyone send their boxes? I did not get all the confirmation numbers, but I guess I just assumed that everyone was good to their word. I will track it down. A lot of boxes are missing all over as well. I am so sorry about that.....

I didn't worry so much abou the tracking numbers, some sent them so didn't. I assumed everyone would because it is just as fun to send one as get one. I will find it. Is anyone else still missing their box?

Ok, I am working on everyone's boxes and emails today. I have had the craziest week ever and I got totally swamped and behind. I am working my way out of it as we speak. I have about 7 boxes of vinegar going out to you wonderful chicken people!!!

On a side note, how much would you charge a week old breeding pair of Rhodebars?

Get some really large zip ties to go around or small ones to go through holes. That's how I used to do it, but I'm partial to the large ones.

SAH............ with a heat pack and grogel you will be fine to ship on Monday. ONLY send them express though as Priority is an even bigger risk.

Been losing a few of COF's babies a day still......Do you think they are still traumatized?

yes getting wet and getting chilled while wet thanks to the USPS giving them a cup of water will bring on shipping stress. <sigh> about want to smack every other PO worker anymore.

zip ties through the holes from the lid to the sides and tape works best.



DH is at the PO picking up the LLO box. Have our goats birthing stall all set up for them in the brooder house so they can be warm well fed and water with vitemins all day.

I received mine from Rockymaley, eggs, and I know Rockymaley received the fruit syrups and jams and fruit sauce I sent as I checked. Buckwheat pancakes were eaten for dinner that night. I'm a worrier. I always check.

Thanks locks & COF. I can't remember how I've received chick boxes. It seems like they had been stapled or short zip ties near the lid. There are no tabs on these boxes for either zip ties or staples (not that I have the right staple gun).

You need to call paypal and talk to someone directly. A lot is lost in just typing words and sometimes when you explain to Paypal verbally the lightbulb goes off in their heads and they finally see the light.

Agree. I prefer a verbal conversation when dealing with things like that.

How do you mix small batches of grogel? Instructions say mix contents of pack with two quarts of water. I just need enough for a dozen chicks.
