Michelle, I hope that is the last one you lose. I know someone on here that ordered 5 from him and was going to give them to me for some of our swaps and I think all of them died. I know for sure 3 did

I certainly hope not too. But they are not out of the trouble yet. I have been checking on them every few hours. Making sure there water bowl and food bowls stay clean and giving them fresh water and making sure there bedding stays clean. Making sure they are warm enough and they don't run out of food. Honestly they are so skinny that if I lost more I wouldn't be surprised. There breast bones are sticking out and I can feel there little rib cages. It is just so sad that chicks would be in this condition. I really don't think they would be this bad off from being in the mail for 3 days. Not this skinny or have leg mites or even blood in there stool. They are so dirty right now from being shipped in a box with no bedding that I am sure that doesn't help. I am worried about giving them a bath though and making it worse.

On a Happy note: I have 3 Lilacs out from Sebrightmom and the 4th one is pipped that is a 100% hatch rate.

On krazykat's turkey eggs there is 1 out so far and 1 or 2 pipped.

Krazykats turks will be shipping out to Profti to replace the couple she lost from the po loosing her box of chicks.

Plus adding in the silkies that are hatching and whatever else I have to help replace what was lost.

and those excelsior pads to ship with are CHEAP. Poor little babies.

I know I stocked up on them when I went and picked up my chick boxes at myers. If the chicks are young I like to line the sides of the box with them to help keep them warm and out of the draft.

Honestly, hon....... I totally appreciate it, but you don't have to! I have been sending good, healthy, eating baby chick vibes for you all night. That is seriously crappy and messed up! You are totally appreciated and respected. Now if we can just keep the a@@@@@@s away!!!!

I think your turkeys almost always make lockdown. I think I have lost maybe one or two total. You have the serious turkey JuJu.

And I forgot to say CONGRATS to KYT on her hatch!! yay!!! It's been so nice to have my own eggs hatching today, the hatch rate is soooo much better than I've had from shipped, I was thinking I must really be screwing something up to have so many not hatch, sheesh

Michelle, so sorry about the troubles with this seller.. I need to look at RBA and figure out who this "cartoon character" is, as I hope eventually to be bidding on birds there...

I think I finally came up with a name for my chicken business... BG Poultry... My DH thought of it... it stands for "Ba-Gak" poultry...

He thinks he's so funny sometimes...
