Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

Question: I'm exepecting an order of eggs to be delivered today. I checked the tracking and it said it was delivered at 10:38am. I didn't accept it, nor did anyone else at my house. What are my options?

That is a bummer. Contact them first thing Monday. I had one that said "Delivered" and it was.. only NOT to ME! I called them and they found out where it went and brought it to me. Unfortunately it was a plant...

Oh, and I just remembered, I sent my thermostat to BettaCreek and they delivered it to her neighbor and it showed "delivered". Maybe check with your neighbors?

I am about fed up with broody hens. I had 3 serema hens sitting on 15 serema eggs and none of them hatched. You would think with 3 hens sitting on them at least some of them would hatch. Also had a jersey giant hen sitting on 10 eggs they started hatching late last night and today. This morning there were 5 babies 1 cream legbar roo and 3 polish and 1 light brahma. Went out this afternoon about 7 to gather my eggs. I checked to see if any more have hatched and I was down to 3 chicks 2 polish and 1 light brahma. She had ate 2 of the chicks. I am not putting anymore eggs under broody hens.

I found one of my broodys OE female chicks dead today...I think maybe got separated? I dunno. it was 2 weeks old!!! so bummed. I have one older one and love the disposition already. doesn't mind beinq held, calm, friendly. if they are all like that, I like!!!!

they are starting to take tem out of the coop on small excursions.

Ok....today I am just getting a lot of stuff done, hoping to clean out all the house chores and maybe get outside when it is warm enough. I have many pounds of Viking purple potato seeds for planting and I can't plant them. PM me if you are interested in trading.

Hi peeps!!! For those that I owed White Bresse eggs to, they were moved to their new coop/pen. I'm hoping they don't stop laying but we all know how that goes. Their pen is complete yet but I wanted to get them moved ASAP. Tomorrow is mulch and hopefully DH will get my Jeep fixed. I have a coop and pen to get cleaned as well. Never a dull moment around here.

That's awful! I have never had a hen eat her chicks.
