Oh, not me! Daddy is having a cardiac ablation this morning, so I am in Georgia. I was prepared to be without internet until I got home, but the hospital has guest access! We are all hanging out in the waiting room. Waiting. At least another hour. Sigh.

Some of my chickens refuse to use the nest boxes and every time I find where they are laying they change to somewhere else. This one must have found a pretty good hiding place. She showed up Sunday with chicks in tow. This is my second hen to go broody on a clandestine nest of eggs and then show up with chicks. These chicks had to be sired by my Mille Fleur d'Uccle cock. He is the only feather footed cock in my flock.

Little guy with a BIG goal - she looks like a LF? My bantam Jap tries all the time but can't "connect"....

Hi April! The Super Blue Egg Layers are a breed of chicken, not OE or EE's, they are a very specific hybrid that produces only very blue eggs at the rate of the Leghorn
