JK! I just got the rare breed assortment. I got black spitz last week and added some funds to the order to get some extras- and my two augsburgers that are make up for the ones that didn't make it- so... I am sure it was a good thing. You can send me some eggs in the fall

. I already have a few pairs but, so many people around here want hens and no roos- I figured the rhodebars are a great choice

How often does the SOP come out? The latest version is 2010, correct?

2010 is the current hard copy, next should be 2020 as I believe they print it once every ten years. Additions can be made during the ten years, and are put out as inserts before the next book is hard printed. Its a book all serious breeders should have a copy of and refer to. Its also not something you would want to split between two farms, unless you are next door neighbors. Too much to refer to in it, and you never know when you will want to.

oh and for those who have not seen the SOP, it covers breed spacific, but also covers general faults and DQ's. You can NOT find it printed online, and dont be fooled by the cheap copies on Amazon, they are much older, as are the kindle editions.
