I just wanted to take a minute and ask everyone a question. For those of you that print your shipping labels at home, you are taping down all the edges, aren't you? I tape over the whole label, even though you are not supposed to tape over the tracking bar code. As long as your tape is not wrinkled, it works perfectly. I think that may be why some packages are getting lost. I got a package the other day where the label was not taped on very well, and am surprised I got that package. If the label falls off, they really aren't going to bother with taping it back on. Unfortunately. :/
Yipppeeeee!!!! I just had 8/9 of the Favorelle eggs shipped to me from Ayeupchuck hatch!!!! The 9th chicks developed, pipped and passed away before zipping. It looked totally healthy and had absorbed yolk so I am not sure what happened. Poor thing.
I am over joyed with the 8 that did hatch!!!! Super healthy and robust chicks!!! I cannot get over how cute they are!!! Thanks Heather for the beautiful eggs and healthy chubby chicks!!!!!

Either eat them or give them away in the area. Don't tell people they are Rhodebar crosses because they'll only have 1 barring gene and they'll not have the correct coloration. Next thing you know, someone in your community will be selling "Rhodebars" and they'll actually not be Rhodebars at all. The females can be bred back to the rooster to produce correct coloration. Breeding to a good line of RIR will improve color and form in your Rhodebars too.
