Ah, gotcha. No, we would not be soliciting for charity, just whatever proceeds are collected from ticket sales would be donated. But yeah I'm anxious to find out what the verdict is from the mod.

I believe it would be green, but my understanding is that not every bird crossed with a blue egg layer is guaranteed to get the blue egg laying gene. So, probably green but could be just brown. Since the naked neck lays a light brown egg it would be green rather than olive...unless you have a chocolate egg laying naked neck.

Thank you! That's what I thought. Still pretty nice though. I traded a week old pair of NJ's for 9 Naked Neck mixed with Ameraucana. Adorable little guys.

What a fun idea! We love our one remaining NN hen - we did finally hatch one of her eggs recently and hatched a little NN cutie (not sure if girl or boy yet though). Beth has some great EE NNs
