Tonight I'm sleeping outside under the stars...I don't normally do this except the neighbors chased a wild hog into my yard and I want to make sure it doesn't come around during the night...anyway I'm watching Avatar on my laptop and after I settled down was joined by my two free ranging roos - one is perched on the back of my camping chair and the other is snuggled on my shoulder - I don't normally snuggle with my chickens, but these two started it!! They seem to actually be watching the movie with me, if you can believe it.

I love my birds they crack me up

I guess someone gets to enjoy the Full Buck Moon. You going to shot the pig.?

Thank you for the help! I am very happy to hear your chick was OK.

I am very happy to be in Michigan for this hurricane. I still own my house in Kill Devil Hills though so i am keeping my fingers crossed i have no damage. I hope everyone in the path of the storm stays safe. I know how scary and stressful it can be.

I would think you are getting some of this storm also. I'm in Ohio, Northeastern part and we are getting hammered with wind and rain and flooding. I hope your chick is doing better.

They won't attempt fixing anything until the winds have died down. I would say at least until the morning.
