Hi, I read the first few pages and didn't see answers to my questions.

I am new to swapping. How do I get my swaps verified? Do I tell someone (crazypetlady) about it, or how does that work?

If you send paypal, then the person you send it to will let one of the monitors know and they will clear you to swap again. There are several. If you send eggs, you need to post the delivery confirmation number and again the monitors will clear you to swap on. Welcome!!!

Thanks Dalisgrams! Yeah, I tend to read a lot more than I post, and in the search for answers, usually forget my original intent. lol That and the fact that I have small children, well, my memory is almost non existent.

Unfortunately, that situation gets worse when you are past the child-rearing stage.

As far as the letting them know that the paypal has been paid, I try to let them know it is on the way just as a courtesy, but the requirement is just for the first seven swaps to be cleared because that has to be done before you can claim another swap.

Should be fairly easy, as it will just be pp. I don't have any roosters. Someday we will move out of town, then I will catch up with all of you!

Not sure who was asking but for the Buff Faverolles, they are not autosexing. I think there are only a few specific feather patterns/colors that are autosex. They're really fantastic birds. I'm going to start an LF Ermine Fav project in the nearish future as well.

As far as breeds go. My main flock are BCM with a few Olive Eggers and Ameraucanas. Then I have the Buff and Salmon Faverolles. I'm getting Bourbon Red Turkeys next week and will be starting a White Bresse project this winter/spring which I'm SUPER excited about! That's about it for now though!
