So, I may get to do the NYD hatchalong afterall, a friend on the ID thread is looking to hatch some of her Polish, and asked if I would do it for her, she wants the chicks back, of course, which is fine with me since I don't want them in the house, might just be the perfect arrangement!!

I, on the other hand, am going to have chicks in the house all winter -- after swearing I was not going to do ANY SUCH THING! (And after spending my car repair money on eggs, ye gods.) (Seriously -- car's sitting in the barn undrivable till I fix it and I dropped 300 bucks on eggs.) So yeah, NO MORE EGGIES FOR CLUCKITALL!!!!
Not, at least, till I have my car fixed. Unfortunately with me it's an either/or thingIt's just sooooo easy to tell oneself, "But it's only sixteen dollars!" (Well, on average -- some were 16, some 15, some 17, one 18...)

wish i had someone to brood...but she has less room than me! atleast I have 2acres to play around with my chickens and horse..and dogs lol we are looking for more land because of my most amazing addiction to my sweet chickies! Had horses for 23yrs, so all that was done but we are building a big chicken house with multiple runs....gotta love the hubby for doing that for me lol I can't wait for all the new babes to hatch on NYD...gotta hatch out these welsummers first tho on dec 5
