I treated my chickens with mebedazole, around 30mg /kg live weight. However, I could use some eggs to complete the incubator. Are today's eggs safe, considering that I just gave them today and I think the egg was formed before the med was given?
Second, is there a withdrawal period for eating /and or hatching? Been searching all morning but can't find anything directly related to Mebendazole.
This says "In birds, high doses of mebendazole can negatively influence reproduction. Therapeutic doses can disturb molting." http://parasitipedia.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2703&Itemid=3001
Thanks
