Hatching for Valentine's Day???

I have 10 buckeye eggs in the bator that are due to hatch on V day. It was a complete coincidence. I didn't plan it that way. My first pip was late this afternoon and will probably hatch tomorrow.

I have 2 pips!!!! They are getting louder!

I have 8 Ameraucana chicks that hatched last night and today...and 5 of my BO's have hatched!

I have one zipping and I think one more pip...

Oh...and the BO's were a Valentines present from my hubby..and they're actually due tomorrow!

I have one pip on my ducky eggs, but I don't hear any peeping or anything...when do they start to peep???

Mine were peeping before the pipping!

There's been alot of action since I checked in! I was snoozing on the couch next to the bator and loud peeping woke me up and I just got to watch the first chick hatch! SHE looks perfect! 4 more to go.

MrsEvans they can start peeping as soon as they pip the membrane into the air cell inside the egg. Don't know anything about ducks tho. Good Luck

You gonna pull an all nighter Bec? My first hatch my DD and I set our alarms every 2 hours all night. She took 1 hour and I took the next etc. And we managed to miss every one hatching!

I really want to, but I think I am getting in bed. I thought about it, but I have been sick with a cold and had 5 kids running around in here today, I just took my Nyquil and am going to sleep for a little while, then get up and check! I just went out about 10 minutes ago and they are looking just the same. When I talk to them, they peep!

I was really hoping to see something new when I went out, but it has been about 6 hours since I noticed the first pip..it really shouldn't be long!

I think we all should post pictures of the Valentine's Day group!
