Morning All
Critteranch - Congratulations and well done on hatching that cute cute baby. Adorable and so nice that he/she has got company too. Ironic that you missed the whole birth but easier on the nerves. Such a shame about the other eggs being so near but you've pulled it off and got a happy and healthy gosling
Well done
Amadeusb12 - Wow you've got a Goffin - NICE
I had a pair years ago and the cock killed the hen while she was on eggs!!! My little one is a Timor Lesser Sulphur Crested. She's too humanised and though I've tried her with 4 different males just cant pair her up. She lays two clutches of 3 eggs every year bless her. Had her 22 years now!
Countrychix - The eggs probably will be Utility Toulouse but you never know and you got a great deal no matter which they are
Shelley - nice to see you on board
More and more of you with white Sebbies, got my first pair reserved but got a while to wait. Love the smooth breasted whites. I did hear that the Dewlap eggs were expensive in the States. Over here they sell for about $20 each. However these are usually sold on
Ebay and are not usually top quality Dewlaps. An added problem is that shipped Dewlap eggs usually dont suceed in hatching. However I have read of sucess stories in the States so either your breeders take more care in packing or you have a better postal system than us
Balbinka - What can I say
The photo is too cute
Was out checking the pond yesterday and saw the plants move around the nest box I put up for some Mandarins. Thought we may have some breeding activity at last from them. Popped my hand in the entrance hole to check how many eggs and felt something warm and furry
I pulled out these guys which are about 3 days old. There's a total of 5! Already got a neutered tomcat we took in and now this
Looks like I'll be trying to find homes for them! Bit of a suck in as I was hoping for eggs! Oh well not everything works out quite as planned
