Hi everyone- I’m a 1st timer with hatching in an incubator and we are on day 22 with 2 eggs hatched. Another couple of the eggs have pipped and others nothing yet.
The 2 newborns are quite big and keep bashing about and knocking all the eggs about. Will this harm the others??
And do you remove the broken shells or leave everything alone till all have hatched?
How long do I leave the others before giving up and moving chicks to the brooder?
sorry for all the silly questions- last time my broody hen did this all for me!!!

They shouldn't hurt the hatching chicks, but if it makes you feel better, you can open the incubator to quickly snag them and the egg shells out :) Just watch the humidity to make sure it goes right back up after.

Thank you- will move them out if they get too rowdy!!
