Well it's sounds kinda awesome to accomplish but I haven't hatch single yolk yet but I'm on day 14
Hey, we are on the same day Are you seeing any double yolks?
@wyndotte lover here's the vid I was talking about
Sadly no but my sister did get one from the same set of hens but that egg was for breakfast
We got a lot of double yolkers when our pullets first started laying.
I have 4 silver laced wyndottes that should start laying this spring but I have three duck eggs and 4 rir leghorn crosses in the incubator what do you. Have in yours this will be my first time incubating eggs
@wyndotte lover I'm a dummy... just on day 11 here lol. I don't know what I was thinking
It's all good what do you have incubating
I started with 2 duck eggs and 32 Lavender Orpingtons and 7 Jubilee Orpingtons. The duck eggs were clear and culled last night. All 7 JO were culled and 13 LO were culled: 2 blood rings and 11 clears. What kind of duck eggs are you incubating? Did you set them the same day as the chicken eggs?
