I have designed a little gadget (hatching rings) to hold an egg in an upright position during lockdown phase of incubation. This comes in handy when you are hatching small or hard to hatch eggs. Especially if you incubated in the upright position for the first phase. I created these while experimenting using egg cartons and saw a better hatch rate with my tiny Kikiriki eggs.
The hatching rings are made of non toxic PLA and are designed to allow the air flow around the egg while holding the air cell upright. They are double sided to accommodate different sized eggs. They fit extra small (Kikiriki /bantam) to large eggs. They are available for $16 dozen plus shipping if anyone is interested . Just message me with your shipping zip code to get costs.

I have yet to encountered that issue.Maybe, because I use an incubator that holds them upright.I am sure it will eventually happen.
