Good news !!!!! It's a Sara

yes that final egg has hatched and if it wasn't for some great advice from all the amazing people here we probably would have only had 5 out of 7 hatch but putting those last 2 eggs under the other broodies when mommy abandoned them to take care of her new babies I can proudly say all 7 eggs hatched but with sadness 1 died shortly after hatching it never even dried off !!! So once again THANK YOU from myself and the 5 Sara's and Ariel lol. Will definately post some family pics once I get a chance to get some shots

Congratulations! Such a wonderful outcome! It is awesome to think that your determination and love gave the two remaining chicks a chance and it paid off. Treasure those little bubbies, they are very very special

For once, I think I am going to be lost for words .. I really can't think how to put into words LM's wonderful news and this picture

Uh oh.... Someone save me! Those... Extra males they send? I thought I would get oh.... 3-5.... Something manageable. Yeah. They sent 9. 9 little fluffy yellow things. I can only guess.... Leghorn? Red sex link? Hubby might lock me out in the coop....

All others look great except one welsummer (pleaaase not the roo). I made sure it got some electrolyte water and am watching that one closely. Here are a couple pics. I will get more once they settle.

Ps. Anyone need a roo or two??? Lol!! I am going to give them a couple weeks to grow up some and then maybe put out an ad.

Awww, Marie, what's one more?? It's not like they are a bunch of noisy hormones on two legs or anything....
Hubby took the news better than expected. I told him we would keep them a couple weeks until they are a bit more tough and then maybe post them. He said "but what if they are girls? Maybe we should keep them a little longer." love that guy. I have a feeling they are sexlinks, so no chance for error there. I am going to talk to another mom at tball tonight as well. They also have a farm nearby. Honestly, we have the space to keep them, but we won't if we can find a place for them.

This has been so much fun waiting for each and every one of these little fuzzy butts to hatch and the stress of wondering if those last 2 bubbies were going to make it or not so thankful that they have

So now I'm looking at my color array and am a little jealous of all those beautiful colourful bubbies!!! I now understand what chicken math is got the itch to add a little contrast to my flock
