My main worry right now is the color of the membrane. Do I worry about this? sorry the pic is so large

Ok so how long did it take them to hatch from first pip? Mine seem to be stalled out at the first pip from last night. Getting worried .;(

That pdf says this:

"Carbon dioxide levels above 0.5% in the setter reduce hatchability somewhat, levels above 1% reduce hatchability significantly, and levels above 5% are lethal. Hatching chicks give off more CO2 than embryos in eggs, and their tolerance level in the hatcher is about 0.75%."

Your's just pipped last night? If so, don't worry. What's your humidity at?

Sometimes they rest. Does your bator have a clear top? If so, you could try shining a light on them, that sometimes will stimulate them to move.

Just got them to move and one literally cracked some more shell while watching. No exposed membrane but another pip a little over to the side of 1st one. He just bought himself some more time lol. Ugh this is as bad as with chicks. Lol

Have I mentioned how inpatient I am lol
Days of hatching I get no schooling done with kids haha

Yes and it looked to have hatched about 30 minutes before I got home

Now Babble is quite unhappy with the accommodations but isn't dry and fluffy yet so she/he is just smacking the head against the top trying to stand up...Dawdle is still pretty much just flopping around. Ichiban, the chick that hatched last week, has gotten SO excited hearing them chirp....poor thing has been so lonely in that brooder box all by itself.
