Have anyone had twins?

Did anyone in this forum ever have two chicks hatched from one egg? How long did they survive? Did they make it into adulthood?

Sometimes one twin absorbs the other and can have extra limbs and body parts

I currently have a twin egg on day 22, hopefully it hatches!

One of my very first hatches 13 some years ago I had a twin chicken egg hatch. I knew the egg was very large but honestly I didn't think twins could even happen.
I accused my husband of trying to pull something on me, he was innocent. He suggested twins and I told him it was impossible! I was wrong.
I have only had that happen once on accident all the times I tried on purpose the chicks died before hatch... including some twin ducks...
