I am with Velvet hairpiece, I will ALWAYS have cats, I had three awesome boys when i lived with my wife, ofcourse because I got them for "her" she took them when we seperated, so i'm actually looking for another kitty that i can raise indoors and start letting out later, that way I have someone to hang with lol
longest I've never NOT had a cat was some years ago, I was in and out of the hospital quite a bit for just under a year, to this day I still have no idea what was wrong, docs didn't know, either, basically my body could not handle ANYTHING in my stomache, no food, no meds, no liquids. this was also the same time shortly after my parents got divorced, so some docs were thinking my body was over stressed
I am however, not big on OVERLY cuddly cats, i don't like when cats (or anything for that matter) is all up in your face, LOVE ME! kind of cat, unless it's a very special kitty, like my Seven-toes was, and in is turn, my Shay, two of the only cats I've adored, not just loved. I'm a firm believer that for the most part, cats should atleast have SOME time outdoors, that is what they were designed to do.
I'm not big on dogs for much the same reason, I just not a dog person, I love big dogs as thats all we've had, no little dogs for me, wanted a corgi for a long time though, a friend in highschools dog ruined that for me, he had a pembroke whelsh corgi named Spice, SHE.WAS.AWEFUL, barked, bite, growled, tore up stuff ect.
I also believe dogs should be doing some sort of job, all of our past dogs were outdoor/gaurd dogs for the house/property self appointed by themselves to do so, but still that was better than them layng around being lazy lumps, my mom has a little chihauhau now, she treats that fat little rat thing like a kid!
