Have you ever had an type of animal you just did NOT like?

Dogs for me. They have killed my animals that I have had which was devastating and heartbreaking. I was also bit by one as a kid. I also don't like how people allow their dogs to slobber on you, urinate on things or jump on you.

I have to laugh at all the people that dislike goats

My little goat's nickname is Evil because she is downright AWFUL! I once asked on here about goat bloat because she ate too much horse grain--she was terrible to administer baking soda to, I got some in her eyes! She kicks, rams, bites, jumps on you, she will pull the hair out of the cat's tails and fights with the horses. Once she got into green oil based paint and looked like a mad clown, I had an awful time getting her to stop drinking it. I love my little goat but never again, never! She also smashed our rain gutter flat, ate my garlic and strawberries and irises. I have just last week been able to FINALLY trim her hooves properly!! Before that it was a 4 person job. She will shred and eat your mail and newspaper and jump in your car. She also loves gasoline

Oh, there's plenty more, but I don't think we have all day to read it!

My children each got a rabbit. Never liked the rabbits. They peed all over the furniture and one bit me. I didn't care much for the gerbils, either, but I did like the hamster.

I guess I've never "had" this type of animal, but my least favorite animal on this whole planet would be.....humans.

Talk about dumb. I just think a lot of them should have been culled. Responsible breeding should be much more prevalent with the species! There are a lot of fabulous traits that are becoming less and less prevalent. We're letting too many poor combs into the flock and it's mucking everything up. Just think of all the terrible neighbors, or coworkers, or bosses that you've had. Who's with me?!

As far as the other creatures that I've kept as pets or shared a home with I love them all. I will always have a cat. Always. I love their sass, and when they do love on you, it's amazing. Pip, the beautiful boy in my avatar, is a total poop, but I absolutely adore him. My BF thinks I love the cat more than him, and he miiiiiight be right. If he doesn't have enough food he'll knock things off of counters, and sass back when I tell him not to jump on the table. But he follows me around everywhere, and when I come home from work he jumps in my arms and rides around on my shoulder. Basically, we're in love.

I've had rats, a guinea pig, rabbits, horses, cows, dogs, fish. The standards. Gilgamesh, my beta, killed himself. Threw himself out of the cup I had him in while I was cleaning his bowl. By the time I came back to put him in his clean bowl, it was too late.

I got him to keep in my dorm room at college because I couldn't keep a cat. The next year I got two rats, cause they were easy to hide even though they weren't allowed. They lived about 3 years. They were cool, but I don't know if I would get anymore.

I grew up on a farm of sorts, with no siblings until my sister came along when I was 7, and all I had to play with were cats. We had a lot of feral cats around that would have their litters in our shed, and I would play with them all day and we'd find homes for them when they were old enough. It's probably, nay definitely, why I'm a cat freak lady. I just understand them.

Wow, you'd think I responded to this thread so I could talk about my cat freak-ness!!

I am with Velvet hairpiece, I will ALWAYS have cats, I had three awesome boys when i lived with my wife, ofcourse because I got them for "her" she took them when we seperated, so i'm actually looking for another kitty that i can raise indoors and start letting out later, that way I have someone to hang with lol

longest I've never NOT had a cat was some years ago, I was in and out of the hospital quite a bit for just under a year, to this day I still have no idea what was wrong, docs didn't know, either, basically my body could not handle ANYTHING in my stomache, no food, no meds, no liquids. this was also the same time shortly after my parents got divorced, so some docs were thinking my body was over stressed

I am however, not big on OVERLY cuddly cats, i don't like when cats (or anything for that matter) is all up in your face, LOVE ME! kind of cat, unless it's a very special kitty, like my Seven-toes was, and in is turn, my Shay, two of the only cats I've adored, not just loved. I'm a firm believer that for the most part, cats should atleast have SOME time outdoors, that is what they were designed to do.

I'm not big on dogs for much the same reason, I just not a dog person, I love big dogs as thats all we've had, no little dogs for me, wanted a corgi for a long time though, a friend in highschools dog ruined that for me, he had a pembroke whelsh corgi named Spice, SHE.WAS.AWEFUL, barked, bite, growled, tore up stuff ect.

I also believe dogs should be doing some sort of job, all of our past dogs were outdoor/gaurd dogs for the house/property self appointed by themselves to do so, but still that was better than them layng around being lazy lumps, my mom has a little chihauhau now, she treats that fat little rat thing like a kid!

Guinea pigs & rabbits. I'm allergic to both and both annoy the heck out of me. They fling their bedding everywhere and don't always pee downward.

My sister pawned off a rabbit on me a couple years ago. He's still here. Adorable, yes, but has sprayed his pee a couple of times now. I attempted to rehome him just last month, but as soon as the words left my mouth one of the kids with selective hearing heard me and spread the news. The tears were unbearable and I totally caved. I consoled myself with the fact that the darn thing at least contributes to the compost pile.

We will NEVER have another rabbit or guinea pig. Nor a hamster, gerbil, rat, or anything similar.

I swore I'd never have cats, but two wandered up my front yard and into my heart. I took in a cute, yet annoying, small dog from my uncle, and then went out and paid money for another one because the first one didn't like the younger kids. The new one sure loves the kids, and all their leftovers, too. lol He's cute & friendly, but a lot of work, which turns me off to him.

I'm done with any animals that don't contribute. Chickens give me eggs and dinner. Cats catch mice. Big dogs chase off pests & intruders. No more free-loaders! lol

oh yeah....forgot about the bird from hell I had once. I bought a Quaker Parakeet. It was not a nice hand raised one....it was MEAN as a snake and would chomp down on your hand as soon as you stuck it in the cage. It shrieked too. It got up early in the morning and started shrieking. It accidently escaped outside when I was cleaning the cage once. I can't say I was sorry to see that bird fly off. I didn't let it escape....honest I didn't! but I sure didn't grieve over it either.

The bird vet I worked for called love birds piranas with wings. He LOATHED treating them because they were so mean. He could handle a huge screaming macaw without a problem but htos elittle love birds drew blood on him everytime. To his credit he always tried to help them.

I would never own cockatiels again since for me they live 3 years at most. Lovebirds are to loud Dogs since I hate dogs. Theirs thing I said I would never own and I own them now like I once said I would never own geese because I thought they were dumb. Now I have my cutie pies and I love them. And I said I would never own a large bird like a macaw now I'm saving for one.

I had a mated pair of sugar gliders once that a friend was rehoming because her mom was fed up with them. Named them Steve and Terri (yes like the crrocodile hunter and his wife) Steve was great he'd come out and play with you was abit of a nipper but he calmed down in the year I had them. Terri on the other hand was insane, she'd freak out when anyone would come into the room scream and run in the wheel like she thought she could get away. When she'd hear or see the person out of the corner of her eye she'd start screaming again and spaz out all over again. I rehomed them with someone that had several pairs of sugar gliders hoping she would chill out with some more buddies. She wound up rehoming her too after a few months of crazy behavior. Wouldn't stop me from getting another pair but I would definately make sure they were more sociable first.
