have you ever seen a chicken with blue eyes?

yeah she started out with greyish eyes that have been progressively been getting bluer so i think it will get even brighter. all of the other siblings (17) didnt have blue eyes so IDK? the moms mom was a red (ISA brown?) chicken and the grandad is a Americana. the father of this chick is a purebred splash but i dont know the heritage. most of the 17 chicks were splash and none of the others were grey so i really don't know what's going on genetically here, i had questions with the mom as she was a random occurrence so this just deepens the mystery.
leucistic or albino? | BackYard Chickens - Learn How to Raise Chickens <this has more info on the mom.
i will def give updates as she gets older, she is almost fully feathered out now :)
I have read that blue eyes is genetic, so maybe her babies will have blue eyes.

One of my little guys has blue eyes but I think the older one below had bluish eyes when younger

interesting that I found this thread as I had one chick with green eyes but it seems to be growing out of it and developing brown eyes at 6 weeks now.
I thought the green eyes made her special even though I'd read it's a recessive defect one doesn't want for breeding but now she's just regular brown eyed

because i have now!
this chick hatched out and i knew there was something special about her. her mom is a freak all white chicken (from my flock with no white chickens) and the dad (who i got after her) is a splash Americana. from them i got this girl who is lavenderish splash (i have no lavender chickens and it looks real strange) who has BLUE EYES! it is even bluer in real life but it was hard to get a photo of her and that is why i was holding her head still for a second.
i just thought i should share :)

I recently hatched an all white Polish with bluish eyes from Tolbunt Polish parents and have been on the search to find out info when I came across your post. I found a genetic arrival that explained

I ended up with an all white Polish with bluish eyes from Tolbunt Polish parents and started to look for potential answers when I can across your post. In another genetic document I read, it stated that all chicks are born with dark eyes and change to orange, brown, green, grayish green or stay black, but chicks born with light eyes have an issue. I’m still looking into this, but it’s all interesting.
