Haven't laid eggs in 2 weeks? WE HAVE EGGS!!!

So should I try just keeping everyone penned up for a day or two? See what happens?

Im not 100% sure about snakes, all we have around here are guarder snakes, and even those are far and few between?
Ill keep an eye out for snakes though.

What kind are they and how often were they laying? Are you finding extra feathers around? They molt at about a year old and they can slack off the laying then. The temp change you are talking about, especially when accompanied by rain would cause mine to stop laying but probably not 4 days. Have they had some trauma; loss of a bird, predator stalking unsuccessfully? Looking for other laying sites is good.

I have given CRP or other red hot peppers to get them back on track with laying; it worked for me and doesn't hurt the chickens. Good luck...we want to hear about those eggs in the very near future.

They were laying every single day on Que, all three in the same nesting box every time XD
The only feathers im finding is from my EE, I lost my Snow-ball a few days ago, but it was two days after they stopped laying already.
No predators (knocks on wood) and no other laying sites. We already checked.
Wait, feed them red peppers? Does that really work? How?

Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't there. Snakes are everywhere.

Kept hens closed in coop all day yesterday, and still no eggs? This is now day 5, no eggs

going thru the same thing myself. ive got two young RIR hens, a yr old RIR hen, two sicilian buttercup hens, a blue rock hen, and thanks to a pitbull yesterday, only one Lakenvelder hen. all are young and not yet laying except for the BR and RIR. both were laying like clockwork, but as soon as temps hit a hunnerd degrees almost daily, the RIR dried up...NONE, NADA, ZILCH for two weeks now. the BR is an egg-layin machine though! hasnt missed a beat, but im at wits end what with the RIR and waiting on the younger girls.
