mine have been molting and when they molt, they don't lay. yours are the right age to do this, give it time, they will start laying again in a few weeks.

I also think it could be a snake. You can tell by buying store-bought eggs and putting them in the nest. If they go missing, you know something is eating them!

When the weather changed, was it a thunder storm? That can stress them for a few days.

I am brand new to chickens, but our friends/neighbors have been at it for about a year. We started feeding them watermelon (rind and all!) and egg production in the following day or two goes way up - the first batch that we counted, 12 chickens laid 14 eggs in one day!
