This am she got scrambled eggs with extra water and electrolyte cooked in. Hand placed pieces into the side of her beak so as not to pain her or disrupt any healing.
she can move her jaw and tongue and swallow but cannot /does not want to... close beak to pick things. She's barely touching it to anything today; did more peck attempts yesterday. Her lower jaw muscles may be sprained? If it actually has a mandibular fracture or dislocation, and cannot afford avian orthopedic repairs, how long will she need hand feeding.?Great!
So she's swallowing ok?.....can drink on her own but not pick up food?
