Boonie Stomper
Crowing
The attack was 3/18 about 6:30 pm. so now almost 48 hours. At that time she was stuffed ready to roost. I think she can get water on own with lots of attempts but not sure how much since it drains out her open beak and uses dish not nipple.
Missy's not getting much food (or water?) except what i give her as evidenced by empty crop and observations of her behavior.
So she just got super greens juice via syringe and some classic hummus with oats and calcium by hand. I don't know how much is enough at this stage but the feeding is still stressing her. Though not as bad as before this round.
General inspection and cleaning between then and now. Crop still feels empty. Jaw seems aligned and can be closed by me, she makes near normal movements when swallowing. She's warm not cool like she got the first night.
Eye looking less swollen but not opening yet.
Will keep her in kitchen tonight as we're having freezing rain sleet and snow.
Any help on how much more to feed tonight or tomorrow?
Thanks in advance
