He is a roo right?

Sorry I have another question in addition to that. I like to keep a log on my birds.
we have these two rescue hens, what are they exactly? I keep calling hope our golden comet, and destiny our buff golden. Is this correct? Destiny lays small brown eggs.. I think. But I know that hope lays pretty big brown eggs, had one of her double yolkers for breakfast. Destiny is a few weeks younger, got her April 17th with my pekin drake. We got hope the previous friday at a few weeks of age.

we know that Destiny came from TSC and when she was a chick, we thought she was a buff orpington. But now we think she is a buff golden. She has white lacings around her hackles and yellow feet

we know that Hope came from some place that sells comercial red birds... but not much more. Hope has white main tail feathers that have black speckles on the underneath..

Okay, thanks, I was just wandering if they were something more specific. I will just call them buff tolden and golden comet then. So back to the other question is the littlr black mutt a roo? Or a pullet?

Intead of making a new thread, i decided to use this. So I have a new roo in question.

I also thought this was a roo until recently. But I examoned "his" saddle feathers and they are all rounded.
here are some pictures of 'him'. The reason I question is because of the comb. His father was a white silkie, his mother was a lavendar ameraucana. He came from a green egg.

This was his father

His most probable mother, Stormy.

Thanks! If it turns out a pullet, we may keep her as a broody hen, if its a mutt, we will likely sell him later. I asking because we normally get mutts the other way around, silkie mom, lavendar dad. We have only had 4 of these guys and the previous 3 were both roosters.

Here is two of them. One is the grey one in the quarintine in the middle with our first old englsih hatch, georgina. (We gave her away with her boyfriend, one of the silkies). He only got to live with the other black mutt and the pheasant to the left corner, and the old english until we sold him. we had to cut his yolk sac off when he was born.

wow, this was like... april last year! I remember that the black ameraucana to the top left was born like April 14th. Feels longer though...
