Of course you will keep the Black Star and EE. Black Star's are consistent layers of beautiful big brown eggs, ours lay ex-large to jumbo, up to 3" long.
EE's typically lay later than other breeds, but with the color possibilities, it is worth the wait.
So nice that DH has had a change of heart. My DH has fallen in like with the fowl, (he reserves his love for humans), but you would never be able to tell the difference.
