I'm really mad. of the 2 shots that hit him, one blasted both shoulders, and one went through one of the rumps, leaving a 1" diameter hole. I hate that i shot an animal and most of the meat is going to waste. I only hunt for the meat, and when the meat is shot up i feel horrible because i dont like killing something and losing meat.

Congrats Jeeper, that will be good eating. I am also a bow hunter but have not had the chance at a shot yet, but I saw a monster when coming out of the woods. I hope I see him again. My girls were raised on venison. I do have one piece of advice and I hope you can understand and not be upset. If you plan on posting pics of your deer, please take the time to clean them up and a pic on the ground is much better than one hanging. Better yet, if you can, take your pics before you field dress them. The deer look so much better. As a fellow hunter, I try really hard not to take any pics that might upset someone. Hunters get a bad rap as it is. Look at the professional bow hunters, you never see a pic of a field dressed animal on their shows.
Again congrats to you and your dad. Please don't be upset, I am just trying to avoid hunters being in a bad light.

Thats why on the hanging bloody one I posted a warning, but the one I got i didnt because it wasnt bloody yet. Sometimes we arent able to get pics before field dressing, but on mine we were able, so I made sure to take the pics before dressing.
