Those are all very good points. The enclosure is brand new — I got it from Amazon and debating whether I should assemble it now. There would be no other bird with it, but I fear snakes, and maybe even mosquitoes. I am now considering assembling a structure inside my garage. Just hope it wouldn’t get too warm.

PS- I didn’t express myself well. It is a chicken coop, but I don’t have any chickens in it It looks like the photo below .

Neither snakes or mosquitoes will be a problem unless you live in the sub tropics and have large pythons around. If your nights are staying in the upper 70's and the bird is transitioned to the ambient outdoor temps it should be ok but I will recommend that you get another bird to keep it company.
