Sorry I have had a tough couple of days...
A wonderful person donated 4 guineas to me and we have them penned up. But no luck with getting Michael and Sonny back. We can't even see them now. Our other neighbors believe that theyhave taken them in the house, but we can't prove it. Hopefully they will activate her warrant this week and then when county comes to get her they can see if my guineas are in the house. Until then there is nothng I can do without proof.
On a good note...
When we got the new kids (2 hens and 2 roos) they had laid an egg and by the time we got home and moved them to their new pen, they laid another. SO since I was putting eggs in the bator that I night I went ahead and threw them in too. Can't hurt!
One of the boys banged his head up a little in transport and the other roo would not quit picking on him. So we have them seperated until he heals up.
My good samaritan that brought me the guineas, also threw in some wonderful Cuckoo Maran eggs. So now I have something even more to look forward to! I wore myself out today between checking the temp on the bator, turning eggs, and hurrying back to the porch to watch the new kids play! I definitely used up my "spoons" today! By the way that was the mst wonderful story that I have ever read! I am printing that to give to everyone in my family, all my friends an maybe I will even leave them in every mail box around here(j/k about the mailbox part).
I will try to stay on top of the updates, you guys are the greatest! Maybe I can even get some pics when they come to haul her off! LOL
