Heartbroken need advice, please!(long post,sorry)

After reading all the way Thu this thread have only one thing i can say WATCH YOUR BACK, AND YOUR KIDS, AND ANY OTHER THINGS YOU OWN.With neighbors like this they have no respect for the law, since she is not is jail, no respect for child welfare, since she still has her kids, no respect for herself, since she apparently has an abuseful husband no respect for her animals since she won't take care of them, so BE CAREFUL, she sounds nuts to me.

sundance...

Thank you for the advice! You are absolutely right she has no respect for ANYTHING! But she is the one that wears the pants in that family! When she says jump he says how high, but she allows him to be abusive to those boys. I don't know how she looks in the mirror everyday! Oh wait maybe she can't for all the filth on it!

Wow.. what a wonderful article.. as a nurse, and a fibromyalgia patient, it is hard to explain to patients, and to their families what it means to have a disease that causes your own body to fight against itself. Thanks for sharing! And God bless you

I havent read threw all the post. If I lived closer I would of gone over for you and gotten those birds back.

lmao...You all think they have them in the house?
No way! If they do they'll turn them out soon....anyone who has ever had the pleasure of smelling guinea poop knows that won't last long!

Guinea poop is the WORST!

Were it not for the fear of the animals being in a situation where they are mistreated. I keep the incubator full of guinea eggs. I'd hatch and let them all free range hoping they trapped them all. I'd kill them with kindness until the noise made by guineas was all they EVER heard.

What they have did is wrong, pure wrong.

Guinea101...no matter how long you keep a guinea cooped each day that it is allowed to free range it will expand the area it covers. It's there nature to roam. I've never been to your house nor do I know how close the neighbors are but if they are anywhere close, unless you keep the others and any others you get cooped they will end up at the neighbors. From reading, I get the impression they are not that far from you.

I'd wait until she is back in jail and then I'd go ahead and start the civil proceedings against the parents.
The neighbor who saw them is a whitness. Talk to them and tell them what you are going to do and see if they will write a statement.

OR..you wait for them to mature and hope they are both males and the sound of a female you have WILL bring them over the fence. I do believe time is on your side. Guineas like to fly and eventually they will find their way over the fence.

OR be prepared for the worst if you start legal proceedings. The worst then can do is kill and discard the remains.

AND it's proven with them....they are low lifed as hell and the latter will most likely be their choice!

What I would only consider to be worse is the Sheriffs Department you have by giving you such a BS escuse that they can fly out whenever they want to, for not doing their job.

Wow ... I saw this thread but didn't want to open it ... I was afraid I wasn't up for someone else's heartbreak.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through all of this.

I'm torn as to what to say. Part of me says that, I know you love your guineas and it is WRONG WRONG WRONG what your neighbors have done ... but ... if it is going to further compromise your health to have to deal with this, it seems like they are just stealing your health AND your guineas.

Then again, I don't know if you wouldn't still be stressed even if you decide to let it go.

Sigh ... I am just so sorry you have to go through this. I think I remember your posts about the dogs coming onto your property and you having to kill one. Having to live next to people like that ... that is very stressful 24/7.

It seems that the law enforcement should be made to do what they are supposed to do, if you do decide to pursue this. Have you asked them to SHOW you where it says that poultry aren't being kept if the pen is open on top? I mean, written in the code? If not, then it seems you are in the right. Maybe if you ask them that, and let them know you intend to pursue it with someone with more authority, they will pay more attention to the details of the law? (Though I know I'm late with this, if they actually DO have them in the house now.)

Anyway ... I am so thankful for the person who came through for you. As long as we live on this earth, I know we will run into people like your neighbors. I'm just thankful that there are others who aren't like that, who are wonderful people and who brighten our lives.

Prayers are with you!

Any updates??? I can't stop thinking of your situation - have you found an organization that will help you? I hope they find a way to come home soon!

Just found this thread and had to reply. So sorry to hear about your situation. The nerve of some people. Please keep us posted. I feel very confident that you will win in the end.
