So, yesterday, I was out to refil my duckkies water bails and I noticed one of them laying down shivering? The temp was -1 c during the time, I'm not sure if I should attach a heat lamp in the run.
I've tested the lamp out and it hit 20 - 25 degrees, not too bad. Should I install it?

if its shivering take it inside out it on a blanket in a carboard box or whatever you have, Itll appreciate it

And if their fully grown and healthy they should never shiver at -1

I agree with @Jpat. Your ducks shouldn’t be shivering if they are fully grown. Like @Ducksandchickens said we need to know the age

Do you have straw down for them to lay on?

Or shavings? Or what are you using for bedding? Are they able to get out of the wind?

Shivering is the first sign of hypothermia, so do what you can to fix that ASAP.

I have lost my smallest duckling in August (!) this year to hypothermia! It was significantly smaller than the other five and had not enough feathers to withstand around 15°C/59F. By the time i took it in it was already too late…
