Heat lamp or an alternative?

I have kids at home and I didn’t want any fear about them knocking a lamp over or regulating the temp so I got a Sweeter Heater which is the same concept as a Brinsea. They are more expensive but I figure we will have more chicks in the future, it uses less power, and I bought the largest Sweeter Heater so I can also use it in the coop if we need supplemental heat in winter. So far it is working well for me.

Here it is, for the inside one (sorry it’s dark, didn’t want to turn it on in the middle of the night xD ) the lamp is actually higher than it looks, and it’s not too hot, as it appears in the picture, since none of them are under it!

Delaney I think it looks good, thank you for sharing!! I got my brooder box all set up last night and I made a Mama Hen heating pad. Got my 4 chicks today.....they seem to like their new digs!
