Heat lamp

It is going to be 100+ outside. And 90ish in the garage. Our babies are 1-2 weeks old should I still leave the heat lamp on ?

I'm forgetful, if I turned a heat lamp off I might forget to turn it back on at night when temperatures are much cooler. Aside from that, if the chicks are not going under the lamp to get warm it's not needed.

I'd definitely turn it off during the day, as the ambient air temperature is already high as/higher than you'd want.
