Heating pad

I am putting my incubator into lock down tomorrow all eggs are up to par except for one. It is still a living embryo. It will still need to be turned so I cannot keep it in the lock downed bator. Do you think I could rig up something using a heat pad to hatch this baby out? The chick would probably need another week of incubation. Any thoughts on this would surely be appreciated.

It's possible, but it would be much harder to regulate the temperature. It's worth a try, I've never done staggered hatches so I don't have much advice.

From what I am finding out it is very easy to do and regulation of the heat is closer to mom sitting on them. She does not sit on then continuously. So hopefully all those I have talked to told me correct. Today is LOCK DOWN! I am so excited.
