I've been hanging out here for years waiting for my moment when I got my chickens. Now I've had them almost a year. 4 hens and 2 roosters. I can't wait to have more!

BYC has a very useful learning center & it's free

Getting and collecting chickens is like a addition for some it
is uncontrollable and there a very few who can keep it under-
wraps but all the same an addition for which there is no known
cure for this reason BYC was created but not as a cure but as
a place where people could communicate with others about
their poultry addition

Yes, chickens are highly addicting!! I always mention to many members here that we need an entire forum section on interventions and how to kick our poultry addictions!!
