Hi, my name is Kristen, my family and I just started raising chickens for the first time ever. We were given three hens and a rooster and of course we don't know much about them. We have had them for about three weeks now and so far so good. We also got 10 chicks we purchased and we have enjoyed watching them grow, we have 4 Rhode island reds, 4 red and white mixed and 2 black astilorpes don't think that is spelled right...lol. all hatched on the 5th of march so hopefully we can raise them and have happy chickens. Thanks for having us and hopefully we can find all the answers we need right here.
