Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

What is the story on muffed OEGBs? Are they recognized as a true variety or are they considered mutts? I haven't seen any but I have heard of them. I think muffs look so cute on EEs but don't know if I'd like them on my OEGs especially if they are not then considered OEGs. Anyone have pics?

What a cutie!!! I just got word that a few of the eggs I have someone incubating for me are looking promising!! I only set 5 eggs from two different pairs of BB Reds. Not many, I didn't want to have to find homes for a lot of birds. This will be my very first hatch of my own eggs! Today is the end of week 1.

We washed our birds today for their show on Monday. I'm getting excited!! Its only a small show, but its our first! I'll post pics and results, we're only taking our cockerels this time. One hen has been mated a little to hard, and is missing neck feathers, and the other is fine, but we're just taking the two boys for now.

Here are a couple of my OEGBs. They are 7wks old. It was a mixed hatch. Meaning, mutliple dads. What would you call this color? Whatever it is, I think it's beautiful!
