Glad you joined us . Sorry about your Coco . Chicken losses are kinda the norm . If you have chickens your sometimes going to lose one or two .And without a very expensive necropsy by a trained pathologist. One can never be 100% sure why . And sometimes even those come back inconclusive . Hard part is sometimes it hurts . Always a good ideal when starting with day old chicks expect some loses an get extra . Your off to a good start . You just got into one of the best support groups on the planet .

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes, being a chicken mama is a learning experience for me and I’m so thankful for the BYC. With my cats and/or dogs when they get sick I know that I can take them to the vet for help. It’s a little disheartening with the chickens, because they don’t have that same luxury!
