Hello from Bucks County PA

G’Day from down under Huntergatherr :frow Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

You might want to also Find Your State Thread and pop in and say hello.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Hi!
First time chicken owner, cacklehatchery 31 birds ordered. 20 dominiques, 3 black Sumatras, 3 brown leghorn, and 5 guinea hens.
We only lost 1 black Sumatra a week in, and the other two are everyone's favorite.

Current flock is 23 birds.
3 adult guineas, 6 younger lavender guineas (my dad bought on a whim) 10 dominiques , 2 are roosters. 2 sumatras, 1 leghorn, and a 15 lb adopted RR cross rooster....I guess.

We have them in a barn with a pig, and a secured barnyard. Complete with owl and hawk protection.

Howdy neighbor! I am in Bucks County too, near Lake Nockamixon. I am usually hanging out on the Pennsylvania Unite! Thread. Lots of helpful people there.
