Hatching
Hello all. I am from Fairfield, Ohio. Where we are not allowed to have chickens (yet). We are working on it and in my search for towns with successful chicken programs I ran across your site. If anyone cares to offer any advice I will gladly take it. I don't know the first thing about local politics
so this should be..interesting.
Not sure if that
is for me or the city council. The DH appears to feel sorry for the city council.
For the record, I am not unfamiliar with chickens. I am 60 years old, spent summers on the farm until I was 15 or so. I knew exactly where that fried chicken and those eggs came from. Fed them, cleaned up after them, chased them...on occasion. Pigs, cows..grandpa was a firm believer in hard work, male or female made no difference. So for now, my appearances will be probably be mostly limited to the legal section. Yeah right, just like I am NOT going to look at those seed catalogs as soon as they arrive. And start planning the garden the next day.
