(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

Yes, I’m brand new. I got my first set of chicks last Saturday!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I have 4 chicks.

(3) What breeds do you have?

According to the Feed & Seed, I have a Silver Laced Wyandotte, Golden Star, Easter Egger and. Bantam mixed. I would like some help identifying them. I really want some Silkies and Polish chicks!

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Everything! I love watching them and hopefully getting some eggs!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

World Travel, gardening, roller skating, refurbishing furniture and taking care of my backyard ducks!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I work from home. I have 5 Muscovy ducks I hatched from eggs I found in my backyard. Although, they all come from everywhere to hang out in my backyard. I also have a cat.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

I found the group on Facebook after doing some research about Muscovy ducks. Then I fell in love with the chickens too!!! 🥰

Hello!

Your 1st chick is a Silver Laced Wyandotte
2nd is your Golden Star
3rd is probably an Easter Egger (by deduction. They aren't a standardized breed, so they all won't look the same. I can tell you this chick will be black with barring and looks like it might have a straight comb, so may or may not be an EE)
and 4th (it's a little hard to tell size and comb type from the pic) but I'd guess it's a Black Cochin Bantam.

I hope you will update us pics in a couple or few weeks! They will be easier to identify then.

Thanks for joining and welcome to BackYard Chickens!
