If you only got the chickens recently, it's likely that they may still be settling in to their new home and it'll take a while for them to start regularly laying again.
It also might be because the chickens are young (how old are your layers?) and at first there can be a lot of soft shells when a hen starts laying. Our chickens also started laying soft eggs before they stopped for their molt, so it might just be the time of year too.
I'd give it a bit of time.

)It's most likely a molt then, given it's almost end of summer.
When things have settled down the eggs should start getting tougher again.

(Also, make sure the hens actually know to eat the oyster shell, we had to mix some in with the food for our hens because they didn't eat it on its own.)![]()
