Day 23: 4 ameraucana, 1 Brabanter, 2 Swedish flower, the welsummer that started hatching stopped and when I tried to help I notice there’s no breathing so the chick already died. So far I got 7/15 eggs I’m hopeful a couple more will hatch and that’s it. I’m happy that’s more chicks than I thought I’d have. The last 2 pictures shows some diformity in the chick’s eyes like they are so big. It’s alive though for now.

Here they are the 7 finalists that made it. 3 ameraucana, 1 favaucana, 1 brabanter and 2 Swedish flower. The little deformed one ended up dying after 3 days.

I know I shouldn’t have a favorite but here it is , Brabanter. ( I accidentally dropped it on the floor last night almost gave me a heart attack )

Here’s an update of them. I lost 2 chicks since hatching. Now I just have 3 ameraucana, 1 brabanter and 2 Swedish flower. The three ameraucana and 1 of the Swedish might be boys based on their behaviour.
