Hello from Western PA

Hey guys!! We just moved to PA from CT and I finally have room for some chickens. I have been using BYC as a great resource since we got our ladies. We got our ladies a month ago and started with 8 chicks, hopefully all pullets. We started with 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Black Astralorps, 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Buff Orpington and 1 Barred Rock. Our Barred Rock unfortunately died at about a week old. We are not sure exactly what happened but the rest of the girls are healthy. Our family is my husband, myself and our 2 daughters. They have absolutely loved the addition of our chickens to our already crazy zoo. We have two dogs, a cat and a bearded dragon as well. We are hoping to get some goats once we get the chickens settled and are used to having them. I have been using BYC as a resource throughout our coop build and before we took the plunge and bought chicks. I finally joined because I have a feeling one of our pullets is a cockeral and i wanted to post some pictures.
