hello GQF

Wished I lived closer to so I could give them a piece of my mind. They sold me defective turners and would not make good on them.I bought 4 of them in 4 consecutive years all died within 2 months. And it's not like they are used alot as I raise pheasants and they are seasonal layers. After talking to someone there, they said they have been having troubles with the turners.I asked if they would exchange the last one I bought and they wouldn't do it.They would give me a full amount credit if I purchased a new turning unit,at 128.00,I opted not to do it.I had already replaced all the parts that were in the unit, roller switch, timing motor and the defective turner(which they admitted to),so why should by the other parts again?Needless to say,I no longer use the GQF bator or deal with GQF anymore.I now have a new Dickey.Much better built and is about 100.00 cheaper then the GQF.
In N.H.,Tony.

well i just got back, after doing a couple more stops, sorry you've had such horrible experience with them, always been nice to me.

anyway, picked up 50ft of tubing, 5 water cups, 2 pop bottle cups, clamps, T adapters..all the necessarily stuff to make my own watering setup for my coops out back...can't wait to get started on it, probably tomorrow.

really? you run one of these?

IMHO nothing beats a proper home built cabinet incubator... when built properly they will last as long as you will run it for. replacing fans is dirt cheap, and if doin tape it's inexpensive as well as bulbs. coiling is a different story. but my HOME built bators have proved time and time to be some of the best iv ever worked with. to me, it really isnt worth it to buy such expensive bators.

for tony who operates a whole lot of rare and fantastic birds prob. SHOULD have an expensive dicky or gqf to ensure that all of his time and detication are going into something that has a garentee or a bit of security behind it to make you feel better about putting such a valuable in the hands of something someone else has made...for me a homeade bator is bringing 100% hatch rates. (depending on the situation of course, how many eggs, what type, and all). just my 2 cents.

right now unless your raising birds in the house or a brooder house/hut i WOULDNT be hatching anything other than buttons. it's gonna be really cold for some time now. and we are all froze up here in PA so hatch season has been done for me for about a moth or two. other than the buttons who are sitting on their eggs right now.
